RWR LE # 10 at ebay

Post15 Mar 2007, 01:53

Hi.

I have just listed a watch at ebay, RWR LE Sr # 10.A glitch was found in the stopwatch logic as it is only good for 59 seconds. So I decided to offer it for sale with a case that is not quite Mint as New but is I guess what folks call NOS in great condition.

Also I notice an offer for a SUNWATCH package pop up.I would hope that anyone entertained and ready to buy a 2 pack and parts package would go ahead and buy it from me.I really don,t like selling such things but if I can't beat em I might as well join em.I am really getting tired and fed up with people consulting me and asking for parts for a nickel and a dime just so they can fix something they did not buy from me and are only looking to re-sell anyway.Kinda(sort of) like offering to shoot myself in the foot.

I have stuff to sell and will always help if asked,I still will take questions and offer help to others too,but I have my limit.

UPDATE,
1 day and a few hours left

I keep getting an email from a different ebay member that represents members contact info from three or more different countries. All pretty much asking the same question about photos.

I know who this person is and now I feel unsafe about sending him a replacement module, before he sends the first one back to me.Why distract me at ebay?

He has been a member here for quite some time, although I have not seen a post from him in over 6 months.

Any oppinions on wether I should go out on a limb and send the replacement module before he sends the original back?

Howard, I'm not clear on your description on Ebay about cyceling the batteries. Is the module sealed yet?

Howard:
You've been setting a much better track record on following thru during the last year. You have been trying to play "catch up", while at the same time being bombarded by requests from people that you make good on every piece of business your late father might have had. And much of it without so much as a reciept.

Handle the guy like any other customer - you've "caught up" all a guy can be expected to under the circumstances. Time is on your side and this TIME is yours. 8)

I will contact the person about a replacement module,I just wish they would not be in such a hurry considering the watch is just going to sit in storage.

Corona w lime,

Yes the module was sealed and made in January, sorry if I did not make that clear.

I learned on this one at auction that the "buy it now" option disapears after the first bid unless there is a reserve set.THIS ONE HAS NO RESERVE.

Everything went well on this one.Zero complaints from me or him. I had little to do with gaining this customer.Notghing to prove ,sending better photos was not even in interest to him.

He had already purchased a Synchronar at a Jewelery store in the early 70,s.He has basicly missed the watch ever since. The price he paid at ebay is a discount compared to what he paid in the early 70,s. About $400 shy off inflation.
