Why did this Timex LCD make so much?

Am I missing something here? I do like how the display looks on this, but I think that's just down to lighting?

Hi all,

Just cannot believe what this watch sold for---21 bidders, final price £216, :eek:

I have an old timex somewhere, after this I am going to hunt it down,
obviously the guy who bought it figures it's worth it :scratch:
