somethimes you need a bit off luck :-D

working perfect, even the light and the alarm.

now it need some sanding with my new sanding machine and replace the glass with something other then original cause it,s painted :-(

Rather than replace the glass could the scratches be buffed out with some cerium oxide?
Could chips in clear glass be filled with clear epoxy like the stuff used for car windscreen repair?

yes you can sand some scratches out of glass but chips on the corners or sides of glass is nearly impossible. The only option i have i my mind is to try peeling of the back of the glass :?:
