I'm looking for this P2 V2 date commande

Hello,

I live in Norway and I find on the domestic Ebay (Finn.no) an ad for sale about an Pulsar P2 V2 date commande.
I spoke with the seller and he is the first and only owner of this watch that he bought in 1975 !!!
He stopped to use it because he didn't found an 355 battery and he didn't knew that it's possible to use the 357 battery with spacer...
There are not battery inside the watch but he doesn't know if the watch run.
The watch come with the complet box and all of the papers and origin invoice.

The price is around 420 USD.

Given that we don't know if the watch run do you think the price is interesting ? I want to make an offert at 300 USD...
After, if the watch doesn't run I will send it to Hanno.

In unknown working condition, the watch itself is only worth US$100-125, as parts (chances of it still being in working condition is about one-in-five). What you do have here is a rather rare box, the so-called "chocolate box", which is seldom seen, especially in the U.S. I would say the box is actually worth more than the watch...there's maybe US$300 here, as is. Beyond that, it's gambling, not watch collecting.
BTW, this is NOT a Date/Command. It's a P2/Date, or Date2. The Date/Command is a P3.

Hey,

The seller reply to me that he didn't used the watch since 1982, I think it's sound not good for the chipset and he's not sure if he removed the battery...
