Post09 Feb 2010, 21:01

Hi. I recently bought a compuchron watch (non workin). Well someone has tryend to push way to big battery and closed the cover and the module of the watch is totally broken beyond repair.

Does somone here has a module what is suteble for compu chron watch (does not have to be the original compuchron module)

The buttonse are in one, three and eight a clock

Will add some photos

on the module there is "hughes 1040042" 705-A

Thank you

Thats one of the early one's by the look of it with no colon between the hours and minutes probably a dot display too, watches with Hughes 29mm modules come up quite often on Ebay so keep an eye out for one with the same button orientation as yours.... :-)

Here's one with the module you need - http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-1970s-Compu-Chron-CompuChron-LED-Wristwatch_W0QQitemZ270527067007QQcmdZViewItemQQptZWristwatches?hash=item3efcab737f

Let this be an object lesson for those who would try to stuff the wrong batteries into Pulsars, too.
