These 3502 sport models were not too hard to find a few years back but now they seem to be getting scarce.
I just got my first one this week. A few notes:
- It has a small, very precise jewel-like case, rather thin
- brushed front, polished sides and case back
- excellent large, attractive and closely spaced digits are very readable
- digits are slightly curved from using magnifiers (and perhaps slightly dimmer) but still readable at any angle
- practical DOW display intelligently shows the day /date before switching to the month / date after hold the button for 1.25 sec. (like the ladies' models)
- very comfortable bracelet
- touch buttons are responsive and easy to press due to the flat areas above and below the bezel
- autoset feature is activated by pressing the date button three times quickly so you don't accidentally activate it by repeatedly pressing the time button (like the P4 autoset models).
Overall, it's a very well thought out and nicely made watch which is different in size and feel from the classic Pulsars but still has that unmistakable Pulsar quality. To bad it was the end of the line.
