VINTAGE RETRO RED LED/LCD ROTARY 1970'S Crystal

Post18 May 2013, 10:43

was posted in the wrong section under another topic..edited it for Karnak :-D

Hi all,

Help needed please. A friend of mine has a VINTAGE RETRO RED LED/LCD ROTARY 1970's watch, I changed the batteries and it works fine, it takes 2 384/392 batteries. Watch in perfect condition except for the crystal that is a bit rough with scratches and a chip in the top right hand corner. There is presently one for sale on EBAY ITEM NBR 300905180659 if you take a look at it.

Thank you,
Regards,
KARNAK.

Hi all,

Sorry I forgot, would anyone know where a replacement crystal could be obtained.
Thank you,
KARNAK.

I have a few spare red crystals, most of them are round but I do have a few other shapes - I will have a look if you can let me know the size required.

Hi bucko 170.

Thank you for the information I appreciate it. I put the fact to my friend who owns the watch and in view of the fact that he is only going to wear the watch as a kick around he has decided to live with the presendt crystal. Actually in my opinion the crystal has very minute marks and a slight nick in the top right hand corner but realistically you would have to look very hard to spot the defects.

Many thanks however,
Kindest regards,
KARNAK.
