screwdriver coloured collars

Post11 Jan 2014, 00:05

Probably in the wrong place.

Does anyone know whether its possible to get a new set of screwdriver coloured collars. Mine have all split and I am fed up of picking up just the to so the screwdriver stays in the rack.

Surely someone else has had this.

many thanks

Considering the low cost of such screwdrivers I doubt that anybody does provide the collars alone.
But it depends on what type you have? Bergeon might have these however I believe they are all assembled without an option to get disassembled.

They are brevet screwdrivers. They weren't cheap. Not as expensive as Bergeon but still not cheap. I'll have to find an alternative collar then.

Brevet means patent(ed) in French so they might even be Bergeon or maybe AF or Horotec.
AF is very good value for money but nowadays you can buy a very decent Chinese set for less than 50$.
I'm glad the Chinese are finally making quality stuff.
Just bought a bezel remover vise from Hong Kong for 100$ and I'm amazed by the quality.
An identical Swiss tool costs 500$ or even 5000$ for the same thing with Rolex logo. So why pay more?
