Statek crystal

Post14 Jan 2014, 17:48

Hi everyone. Does anybody have any idea where I can get a statek crystal or which watches used modules containing these crystals?
The crystal is marked Statek WX2 32.768khz. It is currently in a Gillette model 308 flick of the wrist type. Many thanks

Hi.

I've seen these cool transparent Statek crystals used in the modules used in inexpensive TI (Star Wars etc.) watches. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be consistency as I've also seen the conventional cylindrical can type crystals used in the same models.

Ive just noticed inside the back cover is stamped La Generale which is apparently this module type so I will keep my eyes peeled
