Post27 Jan 2014, 21:01

Dear Members,

I am looking for a Manuel for a junghans mega 1 alarm clock I have found one for the united states model but I am unable to find a UK edition can anyone help me please I have tried Junghans in Germany but they are only able to supply a German edition .

This is the second time I have posted regarding this request for help I hope someone can help me as the clock is worthless to me unless I can solve the answer as to how you change the hours from European time to G.M.T.

Kind regards

Hi Wally,

The "Junghans Mega 1" and "Junghans Mega Alarm" are wrist watches. Are you talking about the "Junghans Mega Alarm 1" by any chance?
Stupid naming scheme they did there.
Anyway, if you have an US manual or can source German one, it should be all fine. The setting procedure is are always the same as far as I know. The only difference between the US model and the European one is the LCD panel, and between the UK one and the German model there should be no difference at all.

Did you already try the instructions mentioned in the US manual?
As far as I remember, it worked somehow like this:
- slide the program switch into the "set" position
- press and hold the "24hr" button
- adjust the timezone with (+)/(-)
- release the "24hr" button
- switch the clock back into normal mode
