Looking for: Vintage Citizen LCD battery hatch

Post05 Nov 2014, 01:34

Hey guys

Looking forward to restore a citizen but one part is missing; the battery hatch.

Its a typical early Citizen classic with a 9081A dual time chrono module (with probably the latest year of build for this module, 1978)

Most of these 9081 classic with battery hatch were build before 1978, most of them 1976 and 1977

The battery hatch should have a diameter of 15.7/15.8 mm , this would probably be the right version.

If you have some crappy Citizens with corroded movements, but with a hatch around, plz let me know. Thanks in advance!

Some watches are made to last only as long as they are fashionable
Some watches, simply are not made to last
Seiko watches are designed to withstand the ravages of both time and fashion
Someday perhaps, all watches will be made this way
