Looking for a Armitron Module

I am looking for an Armitron module to fit a Saturn LED watch that I recently purchased. The watch is in fine condition but did not have a module in it. It has the pusher button at the 1:00 position and the set button at about the 10:00 or 11:00 position.

If anyone out in LED land has one --- please let me know. I really would like to make this watch usable again.

Jdam - Welcome!! You did an almost perfect job at describing what yuou are looking for - this detail is frequently missing with new members' posts. One additional detail is needed - the module diameter. Measure the opening - if a man's it will either be 29mm(1.25") or 32mm(1.5") I think you will have better luck if it is the bigger one.

You definately have the bigger one(32mm). Same module is in some early Quasars, Armitrons & Suttons too - E. Gluck Corp. produced all of these.

Someone must have one that doesn't have a decent case.

Of course, if Jdam is the current high bidder on that piece, I'm not sure why anyone would think he needs help in his bidding. :? He may be new here, but he had no problem buying a piece for almost $5k the week before. :P

Well, I don't know how much you know about the brand of watch (Balmer) that I purchased. It may claim to have and MSRP of about $5K -------but don't you believe everything you read.

There is much controversy about this brand and others owned by the same manufacturer. These include: Balmer, Louis Bolle. Romilly, Rousseau, Bernoulli and several others to name a few. Many different watch forums will tell you that these are false MSRP's. TimeZone and others.

Besides, if you look close I only paid $103.51 for this $5k watch. That should tell you something right there.

I guess my thinking is that we collectively(ok, 3 of us) did the seller a dis-service by interferring with normal market dynamics. IMHO. In 'real life", two people start bidding, a third person thinks "where there is smoke, there is fire" and jumps in on the bidding, and then a fourth person smokes all of them with a last second sniper bid. With no reactive bidding, an auction often stalls; conversely, when people check "items ending soonest", they are often more intriqued by the items with bidding activity.

Seriously, it ain't no big deal - I'm glad you got it since it doesn't look like you've dabbled in digitals that much - maybe you will catch the bug. Show us your watch when you have it together...those big module Saturns are slightly rare, even if the market doesn't give them much attention. 8)
