Oh, fond childhood memories!
This was my very first digtal watch!
It must have been around '79 when I purchased it for 70 Deutsche Mark, which was 4 months of pocket money for me at that time (11 or 12 years old) - I even had to borrow one month's pocket money from my parents, but I wanted it so badly...
I was always wondering if I would see it ever again.

Mine was labelled "Meister Anker" - the brand of "Quelle" mail-order where I purchased it, it was chrome plated (worn off after 3 years), the bracelet was different, and finally it did not come in such a nice box.

It's exactly the same module, I remember it well because I opened it many times to adjust the trimmer until it finally kept time better then 1s per month - I called the speaking clock every day (it was a free call, number was 01191) . The button functions are the same - it always bothered me that the stopwatch used the light button, draining the batteries, because I used the stopwatch a lot (kids bicycle races etc )

that's a nice story I wish I could tell one like this.
no wonder that some vintage items reach crazy prices on eBay, probably due to people trying to find their childhood gadgets that they either had or could never afford.
