National Semiconductor Exelar Black 450

Post17 Jun 2008, 15:32

I have an absolutely beautiful exelar made by national semiconductor for sale. Price is 450, the watch appears to be virtually unused not even a mark on the wristband. Please send all emails to hayleemilo@msn.com

What about 450 Uganda Shillings?

15 English Pence = 458.182 Uganda Shilling (0.15 GBP = 458.182 UGX)
Maybe I would let the seller keep the change

Or maybe

450.00 ZWD = 0.0000000464672 GBP
Zimbabwe Dollars United Kingdom Pounds

And you can definitely keep the change

EricG: The guys were wondering what denomination of 450, as $450 USD would be 2-3X realistic value/price for most of that line. But a picture might be convincing or at least garner you some genuine interest. :-)

Just joking around with my previous message. To be more serious in order to get an idea of the watches value you could check out ebay - try the completed listings, see if the same model has sold previously and compare the condition of the sold watch to your own to estimate value.

I know you guys were just joking! I cannot find the same one, but I also could have missed it. Also, I have bought and sold many vintage watches, but for the condition of this one, I don't think I am out of line as this is not the usual metal one, but it is much nicer and better looking. Here is a pic without it lit up, all led segments arebright and perfect.

EricG,

Thats very interesting, a while back I got the same watch except where yours says Exelar mines got the National Semiconductor "slanted ZZ" logo. Does yours only show the time or time and date but no month and does it have a dot or solid line type display. I'am interested in the value too as I've been thinking about selling it, for some reason these plastic watches can make good money i.e. a Texas Instruments plastic LED I sold some months ago made over £50...

My NS watch...

Please let me know how you get on selling it... :-)

Or maybe

450.00 ZWD = 0.0000000464672 GBP
Zimbabwe Dollars United Kingdom Pounds

And you can definitely keep the change

Realistically that watch is worth about 2 BILLION zimbabwian dollars. But only for the next hour. Later on today it will have gone up to 2.25 Bn ZWD, so buy now folks, before we run out of money.

Which also makes me think gordon bleedin brown must have trained up in zimbabwe, becuase hes just bankrupted UK.Com by stealing $900 billion from us, the UK tax payer (and our friends in USA think theyve got it bad when theres 6 times the population!) and gone and lent it back to us at 7% interest for the next 50 years, just so that he can plug a hole in the financial system he deregulated 10 yrs ago.

other than that, nice LED watch ;-)

Damn! I'm fresh out of Zimbabwian dollars!
I have US Dollars.... but we all know what's been happening to them.
Pound devaluations not withstanding, it's still a good day for the Brit/Euro watch collector. If you're buying from a US seller.... or a Zimbabwian! :-P

.. was even better when the dollar was at $2.10 to £1 last year :-D

Back in 2003/4/5 I moved five whole 40ft containers worth of 'stuff' to the UK from good ol U S of A. Not watches, but other collectible stuff none the less. Unfortunately the dollar was $1.45-$1.65 :-(

You guys...that guy left 4 months ago. Must not have read the header, "honesty and helpfullness". 8-) Well, I'd certainly agree with the consensus - $60-125USA. Would have to be really immaculate, maybe boxed to get the $125. I think Majestyk's gotten more like $200 for one, but he DOES take awesome pictures and spends some serious time on his presentation. And he has a good reputation.
