Seiko H239-502A Alarm chronogrph 3 timezones

Post10 Apr 2009, 16:28

Very nice piece of Seiko history from not to long ago. It is in good shape with only minor sings of wear and a good length original bracelet. Makes sounds to (a beep every half our if so wanted). The quartz module operates separately from the LCD-module.
Looking for 95,- euro.

Please find complete description and additional pictures here.

Welcome sometimeago.
I'm a big fan of the 70's era Seiko LCs. I remember that chime on the every half hour, very rare. And this H239 of yours is in great shape! 8-)

Thanks.

I like the details about this watch. The black parts on the bracelet that complements the black of the dial and also the small speaker coming through the crystal is a pretty unique feature!

Definately the rarest aspect is the good shape...most are chipped to death, no doubt by owners who loved the watch! 8-)

No doubt about that Ed. The original owners who were conscientious owners are a blessing to us all!

sometimeago - What other 70's era Seiko LCDs do you own?
Please share with pics!

I need to take some pics of my 70's Seikos, I made a few very good purchases recently (price wise and condition) and I feel the need to show them off.

Fair enough!

BTW - nice Black Seiko calculator from the other thread. I never seen one with the black area around the keys. Seiko! They seem to have made a seemingly infinite number of permutations of each model.

Someone told me the Seiko wishes to make so many different watches (or permutations if you like) so that everybody could find one they like (and buy)....

Or that was just a story from a guy that was swapping Seiko parts creating `frankenwatches` common with Seiko chronographs!
