Hughes Aircraft LED Branded for Sale

Ok, I have come to the conclusion that I am not mechanically skilled or patient enough to be an LED watch collector. Though I admit they are so very cool.

I am giving the fine people of this board a chance to buy this before I
decided to feebay it.

Quick disclaimer...the pics are a far cry from normal quality

Upon receipt of the watch I immediately took it to a jeweler who removed the back and exposed the corrosion left by the batteries.
Using a perfunctory effort, I cleaned it up using tips from this board.
Upon installing batteries, I got one or two little lines...otherwise no other signs of life. The module is probably fried.
AND if that wasn't enough, there is a sizable chunk of crystal missing as evident by the pictures.

I brought this one from bdxample.......is there anything that can be done to save the red crystal or is it junk? It seems a shame to have to lose the Hughes logo.

I have seen some clear epoxy that can be mixed with red dye but I'm not sure how well it would match.
