FRONTIER E-104

Post14 Jun 2012, 05:24

As found: Looks like someone tried a battery too big, or pushed too tightly against (look at the inside of battery compartment)
Found without batteries, and no attempts have been made to test, or install new batteries.
Thanks ;-)

I'm not 100% sure, but this may be the 1603 module that fits the Omega?

The module in that case is a Frontier 2005 which was also used in Omega watches. The plastic carrier for the module is different than the carrier in the Omega. Omega supplied their own plastic parts, quartz crystals and battery clips to Frontier. Carrier ring was Gray in color for the Omegas, Black for Hamilton, both had battery clips which were gold plated and secured/fastened with screws. Frontier 2005 substrate was used in many generic wathces.
