Here's for sale my Timex Electric M40. The watch was bought as non working, but after I've replaced the electric contact and the balance wheel, it works perfectly now.
The watch works and keeps good time, although be aware that electric watches aren't as accurate as quartz ones.
Chrome plated case with some scratches and a bit of brassing on the lug area, the acrylic crystal doesn't have cracks but has some light scratches that can be easily polished out. The beige dial has some small stains on it, probably due to a previous battery leak, but they aren't very visible, so they don't spoil the appearance of the dial.
The watch is fitted with the M40 movement, the third generation of electromechanical movements made by Timex, and is from 1970, according to the date code printed on the dial. The leather strap is the original one that came with the European Timex Electrics, with the battery cell drawing printed on it.
The watch has been sold!
Here are the pictures of the watch:

Many thanks to DWF to allow me to put the watch for sale here.
