Hi everybody, I (reluctantly) must put for sale my Omega Constellation Electroquartz F 8192Hz "Pupitre". The watch is powered by the legendary CEH Beta 21 movement. The watch and the calendar works properly but unfortunately it loses time (about a minute per day) sign which might requires a service which is too expensive to me to afford.
It's a truly wonderful watch, one of a kind. Consider that this was the first quartz watch ever made (despite Seiko beaten the Swiss by releasing the Quartz Astron 35SQ in 1969, the CEH consortium introduced the prototype of the Beta 21, called Beta 2 in that same year, but released its production version in April 1970) and its stated accuracy was 5 seconds per month. So, it's quite saddening to me to announce that I must depart from this watch, as I'm not able to maintain it.
The watch comes with its original bracelet, and has light hairlines due to daily usage.
The watch is for sale for €900 plus shipping costs with registered mail. Price is negotiable so please send me a PM and let me know your offer, and I will consider it...
