A forum member mentioned that he has a Heuer Kentucky and that reminded me of a rather negected part of horology. Even here in the digital safe haven 
Back when TAG Heuer was still Heuer-Leonidas, they invested heavily in electronic chronometers as that was the most accurate way to time events.
Their conection with F1 is known to all and here is an interesting interview with Jack Heuer about that:

Logically the applied this new technology to their wristwatches too.
Heuer-Leonidas made an extensive series of electronic chronographs, some of which were véry high tech indeed.
