Back when TAG Heuer was still Heuer-Leonidas, they invested heavily in electronic chronometers as that was the most accurate way to time events.

Logically the applied this new technology to their wristwatches too.
Heuer-Leonidas made an extensive series of electronic chronographs, some of which were véry high tech indeed.
