Depending on how much you paid for the Microma at this estate sale really depends on how well this deal turns out. It is totally great the wat works! Do all the functions of the watch work?
The case cleaning may take great care because it is that flat powdered black color plating that I have no idea would be the best approach in cleaning. The bracelet looks to be a brushed gold plated. This can be polished I believe with a rouge plishing cloth, and look very new. As far as the crystal goes, I cannot tell if it is plastic or mineral glass. If plastic, then it is easy polished with Novus or Janvil plastic polish, but if it is glass, then it would be best to remove the crystal, then polish, but I have no idea if the crystal can be removed. You may end up having to work on the case first, and then the crystal second. Some people get their case to the desired look, and then use PVC tape to cover the case, and then work on the crystal. This is so you don't mess up the work you did on the case.
This is a great find though. Totally desireable for those "Blade Runner" fanatics! They seriously lay down a 3-K for even one in your condition. Maybe the color (gold- on black or vice versa) has to be corrrect to match the Harrison Ford Microma, but really a nice desireable peice anyway.
