Your pictures just loaded! Im having a weird internet experience today!

I love 70's creations too. Especially the music. My friend just viewed this topic and has started making fun of our watch interests.

I told you the 0124 was the black sheep!

I like those a lot. In my opinion, if you're going to have a watch that has more functions than just telling the time and date, a digital is the way to go. I hate those watches with extra dials , hands , and bezels all over the place that make it hard to simply see what time it is. With a digital, you just choose the function you want and the others keep on going in the background waiting their turn on the face.

I'm loving the bracelet on those early o-series guys.

Just need to save some money and find a new hiding place away
from the wife ;-) .

My wife is happy I've quit collecting valve radio's and camera's. ;-) Watches don't take up much place, she knows I'm very cheap, and i've got a room, as long as the door closes and she doesn't have to come in, i've got "carte blanche" as far as she is concerned. (she has a LOT of books)
Thank god she loves music too, so I could "keep" the large 70's speakers, taperecorder, cd player, record player, etc in the living room :-)

The bracelet of this 0124 is made of solid links, not the folded ones we see on many Seiko's. When I do an image search on google, searching for the 0124, I can see that a lot of these quality bracelets seem to survive.

Hello dutchsiberia,

Is that Sony Flip-Clock dated anywhere. I heard it can be hard to find a good date for some brands.

If you see a date, I would greatly appreciate how to find it.

Anyway,

- Patrick

Hi patrick, I'll try to find a date. At the moment, the closest I get is "70's"

Dutchsiberia - I posted you a PM ages ago but it still has not been sent. This forum is notorious for doing this. I wish this issue would be resolved!!!!!

here is the pm is sent you -

Take the whole case apart then your left with the module inside the bathtub back case. gently lift up the bottom of the module and using a loupe you can see the end of the crown spring. I just tried it with mine.
Take a small thin flat screwdriver and ( with the stem fully out ) put the screwdriver tip underneath the spring end and the module and lift. The stem will come out!

In some fora the message stays in the "out" box until the recipient reads it. Maybe this was the case? (I had to work)

(just got something else to mess with :) )

The message will stay in 'outbox' until it is read by the recipient, once it has been read the message will then show up in 'sent messages', as far as I know the messaging system is working OK it is maybe just that not everyone reads their messages promptly.
