casiotron 03-506 from 76

6 months ago i purchased a nos casiotron s12 ..one of the first one..but the module was totally flushed from batt leakage.
from then i was looking to find a module but i could not find one.

last week, i scored a old casiotron without a band and a bad glass from the bay...25 euro's and so my conversion started.

i needed to clean the case (sanding and polishing)...matt sanding on top and shining at the sides, make new glass and change the band from the s12 to the 03-506.





first i made a new calibre (dark brown glass)for the old glass so i could cut the new glass.

i must admit..this is an incredible watch..sitting almost perfectly.

Beautiful restoration! Now the watch looks like new! I like to see how much great can look watches after a restoration. Judging from the pictures it looks very chunky on the wrist! But I love it!
