H461-xxxx question, please?

Post13 Aug 2012, 00:25

How do I turn off the hourly chime on this H461?? I've tried every combination of pushers and crown, but can't seem to find the right one. Thanks!

sometimes they need to be in the alarm mode or time set mode to adjust the beep

Have you been holding down both the pushers on the right for a few seconds or just pushing them in? try holding them down in Either in time or calendar mode

with these models you either hold down just the 1 button or both. it will then cycle from Alarm to chime to nothing or the other way round....

Something else to check is that those buttons are doing their job prior to this otherwise you have a connection issue

That did the trick, thanks. Pushing both right-hand pushers activates the alarm-test function, but I never held them in together longer than a couple of seconds to test the alarm. Holding them in ~4 seconds or more extinguishes (or lights) the hourly chime icon and turns on/off that function both in time and date mode (but not in alarm mode).

Thanks again.
