I thought I'd share a few pix of a new gold plated Segtronic that I got last week. I was glad to find it because it completes a matching set of minty gold and stainless models (with the original box).

The 18kt plating has a very nice warm rosy color, more similar to the (14kt) color used by Pulsar and less similar to the yellower color used by Hamilton Bulova, etc. I'm not sure if all 18kt alloys have this rich, warm hue or not, but for whatever reason, it's rather pleasing, especially in the sunlight.
