Citizen 50-6044

Post27 Feb 2013, 19:58

Hi friends, new watch found here in Milan in an old watch store. :mega:
From a lot of 3 Citizen Crystron only this lights up immediatly...It's a NOS with tag and the old price was 128.000 lire (wow very expensive). No box and manual, only the watch.
The model is a golden Citien 50-6044 with only two buttons, one for the light and the second for the date,so very simple.
The mirrored lines aging the gold case just scream 1970s.... :grin1: :grin1:
This came from March 1978 as the case back says..

Enjoy

Some watches are made to last only as long as they are fashionable
Some watches, simply are not made to last
Seiko watches are designed to withstand the ravages of both time and fashion
Someday perhaps, all watches will be made this way
