Question on Citizen Analog-Digital Watches

Post06 Mar 2013, 06:54

Hi,

Just a quick question on Citizen Analog-Digital Watches (combined LCD panel /w one or two analog quartz movements).

I've come across a few of these watches in which the LCD / digital sections work, however the analog quartz hands appear to be stuck / non moving.

Any tips on troubleshooting these watches or restoring the analog section? Is this a common issue on having the analog section fail?

Thanks

dried up lubrication of the gears of the analog movement. A clean and relube is the best way to go.
