i never changed or cut glass for this model..so i have no idea how it,s looks like.

normally, i make the watch warm and push it out from inside. then i cut new and press press it in..the trick in all is to have even pressure on the glass so i won,t break.

Production versions ar press in to a plastic gasket. You can reuse the existing gasket if you don't damage it with the extraction process.

The production versions are also beveled on both the top and bottom edges. The bottom edge which is pressed in to the plastic gasket is beveled deeper then the top.

Look at the crystal edge on, any edge on. You will see a greater bevel on one side. This is the bevel that fits into the plastic gasket prior to your pressing it in.

As stated above, equal pressure is the key to success. With that said, EVERYONE had cracked a crystal during installation :-D

I have various dowels with different shapes which I use to press from the inside to release the bezel. ALS, including the warming (to soften the plastic gasket) I also spray with silicon gasket spray over night.

Cheers and good luck,

Geoff
