Replacement crystal for square faced Citizen 9010/9011(A)?

Post17 Aug 2013, 18:49

Hi guys,

I fetched this little beauty at Fleabay some days ago. Dirty, loose crown, rotten polarizer, beaten up case and crystal:

Cleaning it, getting the crown right and replacing the polarizer with a (generic) new one wasn't a big problem, brushing up the case should not be a big issue either, but I'm at a loss regarding the crystal. If you know this watch, you probably know that it extends underneath the bezel, so cutting a replacement out of a flat mineral glass won't work. Where on earth do I find a replacement crystal?

I would like to make it look at as good as its minor sibling:

In the Netherlands, there is the company horlogeglas.nl that can make crystals in a lot of sizes and shapes, if you provide them the watch. It might take a long time because they are very busy.
They made a crystal for my Zodiac :)
