Casio TW7000

Post23 Jul 2014, 10:01

Hi to all my friends...i'm not in love with any G shock series cause i hate the big plastic watch...
This Casio is different...released in 1984,the case was made in Titanium (imprinted on it) with a good balanced band in stainless steel: the watch appears very light weight and comfortable, maybe Casio's first Titanium watch and can be positioned between the Marlins/Swimmers and the later G-shock :-D
The module is the fantastic 548 with big and crisp digits and loud alarm....the watch appear NOS,no scratches on case and glass...only few marks on clasp due storage...

Some watches are made to last only as long as they are fashionable
Some watches, simply are not made to last
Seiko watches are designed to withstand the ravages of both time and fashion
Someday perhaps, all watches will be made this way

Simone - have you covered all the old watch dealers in Italy? I'm coming to Italy (Rome) for one week tomorrow, and wondering if it's worth me bothering to scout out some old jewellers shops and hunt for nos gems :)

Yeah we intend to try to see all the important monuments, I will look for old jewellery stores now that I know that you haven't emptied them already :-D

I did see some interesting stuff in a tobacconist we walked into when we first arrived (went there for metro tickets), they had some vintage cigarette lighters, pens, and sunglasses, but the only watch they had was a vintage store display watch, one of those large ones used like a clock, unfortunately it wasn't digital.
