According to the repair manual:
http://www.digitalwatchlibrary.com/imag ... /G757A.pdf

You also need the "Seiko quartz casing parts list" to determine the correct color for the lcd. (like ebay item 221620810008 )
(but you might already know that, but I wanted to mention it just in case :) )

There are actually this many LCDs, but no correlation as to which models they fit. I have most case guides but non contain g757 models :(
- 4510621 = 405A ( Red outlined analogue display for movement B - 4001 564 )
. 4510670 = 4020
. 4510671 = 5000
. 4510672 = 5020
. 4510673
. 4510674 = 4029 / 4020
. 4510675
. 4510676 = 401B
. 4510677 = 401A
. 4510678
. 4510679
. 4510681 = 5040

The Euro 1981 & 1981 Seiko quartz casing guides give the following part nos for G757s;

G757-401A 4510677 (pretty certain -4010 is the same)
G757-401B 4510676
G757-4020 4510670 or 4510674 (depends on bezel colour)
G757-4029 4510674
G757-5020 4510672 (Sports 100)

I suspect the -5000 (Silverwave) is not in the Euro guide because it wasn't a true Euro model- Japan/Australia although many found their way over here as personal or grey imports.

The 4510621 is the 1983 "4 item" menu model (all the above have 5 items in the right hand menu) and only works with the specific circuit board for this panel

Id love to see some more information on the 1983 model. Does it use a different board? Is it a specific model case number? Is the board part no different?

What do I need to find to get hold of all these part numbers from the early 80s, it would be really helpful when sourcing parts

Thanks

Here's an interesting story, which compares the 1983 G757 to the others:

Thanks Andrew, learnt something new.

Interesting article too. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the buyer(its easy to see on the page). I have bought items from that buyer in the past(never again and saw those auctions. I cant believe he got away with basically stealing those watches and reselling them publicly.
