Seiko 0124-0030 LCD Panel

Post25 Feb 2015, 08:47

I scored a nice 0124-0030 at a flea-market on the weekend:

As you can see the LCD panel is damaged. Other than that it works well.
Looking at the Technical Guide, there is one LCD panel for the 0124, with part number 4501 411.
However, I've seen other 0124 variations where the upper LCD window, which displays the date, is significantly pushed to the right, instead of to the left as can be seen above.
For example, the 0124-0049 has it on the right, which can be seen here:

Does anyone know if there were 2 LCD panels available for the 0124 ?
From what I can tell, there must have been.
Rgds.

im pretty sure there are two Charger, yours on the 0030 is different to the 0019 and 0049 with the upper digits slightly further to the left. The casing manual I have only states one lcd panel for the 0019 and the 0049. It doesnt mention the 0030 at all.

This module comes with two different displays, one with the date positioned left and the other right (case model 0124-0030 vs 0049)
Unfortunately I cant help you with the part numbers
Edit: just notice you already had that info ;) Nevertheless ..
