Thus, if the Seiko A829-6030 Silverwave series, with multi-function controlled by rotating bezel appeared c. 1983, Pulsar V600 was certainly produced under Seiko's Pulsar brand.
The year 1983 was an interesting year for Seiko company, being the moment when Seiko began a design partnership with Italian designer Giugiaro.
This cooperation produced some very interesting time pieces, including the famous Seiko A828 4019 with rotating bezel for modes switching :).
And by the way, some expert people even say that Casio Navi Graph's design (a watch that appeared c. 86/87 and was produced a short period of time - thus being quite rare) was inspired by the Seiko A828-4019.I agree that the Casio Navi Graph may not look very "retro" with it's plastic case, but being launched only 3-4 years after A828 and A829, it may be very well considered more or less a "vintage digital", or - at least - almost as vintage as the Seiko Silverwave series.
