The very first Casio futurist

Post12 Nov 2015, 17:14

I always wanted this watch in 90's but i never had one...too expensive in 1992 (priced 98.000 lire)!!And believe me that i don't know why...
At the same price in early 90's many other Casio watches was available and with a lot of extra functions like Thermo,Barometer, moon phase, planets graph, pulsometer etc...
Anyway it was the future: great case design, amazing negative display and powerfull electro luminescence. It was the Casio A200,and it was 1992

Some watches are made to last only as long as they are fashionable
Some watches, simply are not made to last
Seiko watches are designed to withstand the ravages of both time and fashion
Someday perhaps, all watches will be made this way

I think these were the first watches with a electro luminescence light at that time.
