F-91W movement, preserved in plastic "amber"

Post12 Oct 2025, 21:16

I am aware of that I am in a grey-zone here, daring to mention the Casio F-91W from 1989, here in the vintage forum. I mean, it is still produced, so how can it be vintage?

I just thought you would like to hear that the design bureau CW&T thinks the F-91W is so iconic, that they have designed a new case for it. Well, actually, for its movement.

The result looks very little like the original. I think we can agree on that.

They sealed off the buttons. So no light.

No nice try but no cigar. So easy...just print a see through round case and put the module in it.
