So the production of this module started in 1980...
Probably my yema was made between 1980 and 1982 in according with it`s design...

I'm curious. What kind of proof does she have that the ad is from 1980 other than telling so? 1980 doesn't go in line with my records about this movement, and I've seen quite a number of them already with proof of their production time.

I don`t know...the seller tell me that is from 1980 and not 80`s....maybe there`s a date in the back paper...
Anyway the design is not from a second half of the 80`s and the italian old price is too expensive (95.000 lire, actual 45 euro)...in my opinion is from max 1983..

I have a few Bulers here and one Microma using the same module. A few of them have either BM or BK 79 or 80 marked on the green module case. The build quality of the Microma is good and better than slightly later Micromas I have..

Are you sure it can only be from after 1983? I am interested and would love to see proof one way or another. I have searched every where for literature but nothing on the net I can find.

Adam,

the predecessor of this moduie was made in 1978-1982, it looks similar but is not quite the same.
Here's a picture of the older one: http://i45.tinypic.com/w18a3s.jpg
Simone's module was the one that went into production after this one and I never saw one dated earlier than 1983. That doesn't mean it didn't exist earlier, but I've yet to see one dated before 1983.

Simone: 1983 isn't exactly second half of the 1980's :-)

Thanks Peachy. When you say dated do you mean the BM or ~BK 79 or 80 I mentioned. I will check the modules I have and see if they are early or late ones. I would have thought they were the early ones. I think they have module numbers and is the lcd different?
It looks like the Yema range went from 1976 all the way into the early 80s.

I will see what I can find.
Yema was quite popular here in Luxemburg. Maybe one of the old-established dealers still has some papers in the attic. Gonna ask around a bit next weekend.

Looks like "OG" to me. What does it mean? Beats me.
I am wondering if the Swatch Group has any knowledge left about these ancient things. Modutek was bought by ETA S.A. in 1986 and ETA in turn became part of the Swatch group in the '90s.

It has a multitone alarm, not a melody..seems to be very hard dated this yema as you can see..
