Omega Chrono-Quartz

Hi Guys, I have a Chrono-Quartz and it seems to be draining batteries very quickly, even the good silver ones...any ideas before I put in into the hospital?

Probably the LCD guys could help you out more than me, but I tend to think the quartz oscillator may be the culprit.
