Hi,
I recently acquired a box of OEM parts from a colleague of mine. This friend was a watch repair man many years ago and he unloaded all these parts to me. Most of the parts are LED but he gave me a few LCD parts too including modules, replacement crystals, buttons, terminals, gaskets, lcds, lcd polarized film, etc... Included is a watch that must have come in for restoration but never made it out. The watch is a Seiko A159-5009 G. I have all the parts to rebuild this watch except one, the module. I have a new (crystal) dial, all new screws, gaskets, buttons, band, piezo speaker, and all of them are still wrapped in the blue Seiko wrappers. I may have the module parts but Im better at disassembling modules, fixing them, and reassembling them than I am building one from boxes of parts.
Would someone be kind enough to show pics of their A159-5009 G module?
Also, can someone tell me what if any watches shares this module and are these modules or watches hard to find? Im a Casio guy and completely Seiko ignorant, so thanks in advance for your help. Id love to see pics of the module.
Thank You,
rws
