For me the only record breaking wristwatch that counts will always stay the first atomic wristwatch!

There seem to be a lot of different Crystalonic solar LCD watches.

The one pictured (picture now gone...) by the OP is probably a later model and not the "first" one.
Peter Wenzig has the "first" model here. It looks quite different.
The watch on soluhr.com also looks like Peter's. Another one on soluhr looks similar.
Pieter Doensen has a solar LCD timline here, photo is here (item N.2.1), but this looks like the later model that we also see on Howard's scans.
So does the one on www.scienceandsociety.co.uk.

Yeah that case style from Dr. Wenzig is also what i think is the "initial" first style from 76, the other ones (round style) were what I'd also suspect the later ones. The round case was probably some standard case and cheaper to produce.
