I love this model Seiko too Simone. I
like to say it' s my favorite.. but there are so many good Seikos out there that can't keep only 1 in the top spot for long.

Still - as you said it's a very elegant design, well balanced, I also love that 'green skin' it has and the way the case is slightly angled. Tillted so that it is easier to view.
I bought mine many years ago on e-bay in a two watch lot. I wasn't really jazzed about it, actually bought it and the other as "non running junkers" for the bands. Anyway, I took out the old Ray-O-Vac battery that was in tit and put in a new battery for the heck of it and to my big surprise the thing worked great - but had a badlly scuffed up crystal. Ed @ retorleds refurbished it and I've been loving it ever since. (BTW - I use Maxell batteres and they last a few years - but it's not my daily wearer.)
