citizen seven quartz

Post24 Feb 2012, 20:47

hi i need al the info that i can get on this one :-D

when i put a new batt in it...2016 batt..all the figures starts but they jump randomly but together every second. everytime i do a reset connecting + to the - side of the module. It just that i have to do a certain thing with the buttons to let it stop and this is a demo mode of all the figures...it';s jumps faster then 1 time a second. After a while they starts fading till they all disappair.
but i still haven't found a solution and no manual.

Well I've been taking quite an interest in the Citizen LCDs from mid seventies to early eighties.......

And I'd say that this is a variant of the Lithium Multi-Function Cal 9500. The standard 9500 has two buttons on either side of the case. This one obviously has two side and two front buttons instead. Don't know much about this one as I start losing interest when things go Lithium but there should be a four digit Calibre ID on the back plate of the movement - possibly 950?

I have a .pdf of the 9500 manual if you want it.
