A new seiko coming to me...a nos seiko a358 5000 from november 79 in full working order conditions..is this a pan am?

Great watch!! and Congratulations!!

I think the model number M158-5009 is the "Pan-Am" version, which tends to have a more yellow-green tinge to the lcd screen, someone please correct me if I'm wrong though.

Almighty Tallest is correct Its not the Pan Am that is the M158. This is slightly smaller an doesnt use the dual layer lcd panel. You will love the bracelet though. stunning quality, same style as used on the H127, wraps round your wrist like a snake.
