Hello guys,

I want buy this Seiko SilverWave (photo attached), but first I want know if I will need get an original seiko crystal for this watch or I can replace the crystal without any problem because the watch comes with steel plate next to the glass.

You can try contacting Seiko in your area, they might have replacement crystals for that watch.

Thank you Kasper, you are great! Get a new glass it's not a problem, I know a watchmaker who can cut one for me.
My problem is if the watch have close to the glass, the plate with inscriptions and images! Because if you do not, I will not be able to replace the glass! Only if I find an original one.

I hope you understand my question, because my English is no big deal. :oops:

For example, most of the casio watches has its own glass painted with inscriptions. So, if you broke yours, you have to get an original one from that model to replace it.

the lettering is on a separate panel behind the glass on this model. If you get a good magnifying glass you should be able to see.
