Microma (Blade runner?) lcd nos...update review

hi all,

this one arrived on my doorstep.

Microma ...but i have no idea what model it is..the bladerunner model has 3 buttons and is black with gold
Maybe Adam can help me further on this one.
Also the blue back is not straight..i think its a fault cause they all have it and i can not keep it straight without glue or something.

Kasper, the "blade runner" watch (3 buttons) has an added chronograph.
It's silver, but besides that it looks just like the blade runner watch.

i know that but i think that every module of these watches has a chrono..but it just has no button to push it.

i have to test it as soon as i have time..have several of these modules from microma Maybe i just have to add one pushbutton and
sell it for 7000 dollars

i've been wearing the watch for almost a week now and i'm impressed. It's feels good around my wrist..not to heavy, not to light. The digits are very well readable from every angle
and the backlight is bright, even better then most seiko's.
It's shows the hours/minutes and the date in one view and i really like that. Press the upper right button to skip to the seconds and back to the date. the other button is the light.
It has the real vintage look with the modern blue background.

overal a decent 8.5/10 from me...a keeper and i will wear it sometimes.

The module has 3 contacts at 2, 3 and 4 o' clock at the right side but has no chrono build in..so you can not use it for the Blade runner model.

You can really tell the difference when they are side-by-side.
I too thought when I first discovered the extra contact on the 2 button module that maybe it had the chrono there, but just not in use due to the lack of third button...You can see they both have different boards when compared.

Ok, so there were 2 versions ,a chrono version and a (probably) cheaper non chrono version.

I just fixed my gold colored "non bladerunner". The digits were flashing, after cleaning the contacts of the lcd and the circuit everything seems to be okay again :) The misalignment of your blue back (insert is the correct name?) can be fixed by screwing on the back fairly tight (which caused the misalignment) and then unscrew it a few mm. This may turn the module (and the insert) slightly into the right direction, fixing the misalignment :)

Have you tried to shim the module to stay put?
One of my Microma's came with a thin piece of what looks like a ripped off section of a magnetic tape similar to the cassette type in picture, but just a bit little bigger.

This case pictured is the case I found the tape piece in used as a shim, and I believe it was a factory assembly original fix?...maybe?
