Ultra Thin PRECISION

Post18 Feb 2013, 18:28

Hi friends....here to show you my latest watch....I found it in a little store near Como (lake of Como)...
The watch is NOS and i found it in a lot of watches like certina and microma lcd.The tag show me the old price: 90.000 lire (actual 45 euro).
The brand is for me unknow, never heard before: Precision, probably an Hong Kong made....
The band is in black leather and present a chronograph 1/100,great t for an ultra thin watch!!Very elegant with mineral glass and with a blue dial
In front there are two micro button, one switch to the crono and the second shows the day and date...no lights is present.there's also a set button in the left side...
The lcd is very crisp with a dot that shows the pm...in the back case only stainless steel and the brand...no serial number
The thin is only 4mm (or 3.8mm)

Some watches are made to last only as long as they are fashionable
Some watches, simply are not made to last
Seiko watches are designed to withstand the ravages of both time and fashion
Someday perhaps, all watches will be made this way

Thanks Kasper....this watch is very simple and elegant...i don't know nothing about this brand,no information on the web...the year could be 79-80 by design...a mix:seiko f231 and the phantom by bulova....
Seems to be very well built for a cheapo watch.....
If anyone could help me to date this gem.....

Ps Yes Como is a very nice city....wow....

Beautifull!
Reminds me somehow of a casio i own, the 52Q8-14. It has the same features (time and chrono, no alarm), lcd setup is similar

Looks similar but in this Precision there's no light and a new concept about the thin watch creation ( i check the and is 4mm)....For sure it's a late 70's (1979-1980)
It's very hard to push the button....are very small :grin1: :grin1:
