I have found this "Beauty"!
It fully works and has minor scratches. Almost not worn, but not NOS.
The Translation works like this (English<->German):
1st You need to switch it on (yeah!!!)
2nd You can select (also a swich the direction of translation)
3rd You can set the first 2 letters and then you need to select the word. Could take a while
On the "dashboard" on the left you have these 2 buttons: You can select the first 2 letters with these 2 buttons.
4th: Use the arrows on the right to change the words
5th: Press Translate and.... Voila: englisch for "Hackbraten"
If the word consists of more than 8 letters you can use the bigger blue arrow to read the 2nd or 3rd part of the word.
The watch itself has only following functions: time, date, time without seconds but with date (day)
2 questions for you:
Does anyone know such a watch or does anyone own such a model?
There are almost none information on the net regarding any translator wrist watches; so your ideas, links or comments are welcome.
Interesting fact:
The watch runs on 4,5V (!!!), so I had to give her 3 x 391s; all serial connected.
Housing is a kind of metal die cast.
Don`t know how long these batteries will last. But I´ll give it try.
Have a nice evening
