Citizen crystron 9011

Post03 Sep 2013, 13:50

Hi friend....yesterday i found this Citizen in non working condition and i pay for it 20 euro...
The watch is very used with a lot of scratches here and there and with a lot of dirty but overall in good condition...
So i opened the case and...damn...the connection between battery and the board is missing, probably destroyed by a battery leakage....
I check my spares and i found a fully working module for citizen 9010....and then i used this...is identical... ;-)
After a good clean now the watch is still running ready for my thin wrist...
This one is dedicated to my friend Ernest,a big fan of crystron.... :grin1:

For sure a great quality watch with original band branded citizen and not "CQ",the serial is October 1976

Some watches are made to last only as long as they are fashionable
Some watches, simply are not made to last
Seiko watches are designed to withstand the ravages of both time and fashion
Someday perhaps, all watches will be made this way

Congrats Simone, you're making a very nice collection of vintage Crystron LCs. I really hope to find one myself too...
