Ok..ok..it's a lucky day: Citizen Crystron LC

Post04 Sep 2013, 14:08

I found a big lot of NOS lcd watches in Milan...Seiko and Citizen
So i bought three beautiful timepiece...two Seiko and one Citizen

Here the crystron 40-2052 from Feb 1978 with tag (i'll take the original box and manual next week)...an early one...the evolution of 9010 and 9011.Only light,no chrono or dual time...very basic but very very elegant...i just love it...

Some watches are made to last only as long as they are fashionable
Some watches, simply are not made to last
Seiko watches are designed to withstand the ravages of both time and fashion
Someday perhaps, all watches will be made this way

If i don't wrong there's only one crystron left with black dial....and another citizen with alarm and dual time.
I'll back in this store next week to take the boxes and to withdraw the seiko A133 with a lovely blue dial...i just pay only 40 euro a piece...hey are all nos :-)

That is cool Simo!
The Crystron LC is one of the watches I'm mostly looking for... Especially the first generation with the setting crown, that I still haven't managed to find at a good price.
