Lucky day pt 2: Seiko 0138-5000

Post04 Sep 2013, 14:23

Here another NOS watch...a Seiko 0138-5000....
I never seen this model before with dual chorograph, countdown and light!..This came from May 1978
Very solid band and heavy watch with three button in the right side (one for light, one for date and one for stopwatch/countdown function and setting mode)
I found also a very beautiful A133-5009 with blue dial but i leave it in store for testing...only the light works....next week i'll go in store to see if digits are appear...so finger crossed....

Some watches are made to last only as long as they are fashionable
Some watches, simply are not made to last
Seiko watches are designed to withstand the ravages of both time and fashion
Someday perhaps, all watches will be made this way
