New purchase

Post26 Sep 2013, 00:56

Hi, I recently bought one of these for £157 and just wondered if it was a good buy or not? I bought it because I like the style of early LCD watches.

Thanks.

I'd say it wasn't dirty cheap, but it could have been more expensive. Check Ebay to get an idea about the current market value.
Some people are asking higher prices for the 0624 in worse conditions than yours. If they get the money is still a different story, though.

Very nice seiko. :mega:
A reasonable price to pay i guess.
I paid about the same for one in the same condition as yours.
And like peacykeen says, they sometimes go for more than that.

great watch!!! congratulations.
lovely design and big quality!
Some watches are made to last only as long as they are fashionable
Some watches, simply are not made to last
Seiko watches are designed to withstand the ravages of both time and fashion
Someday perhaps, all watches will be made this way

Thanks for your replies. I've just bought an M159-5028 for £22 now. Probably not collectible, but I like it also. You've given me the bug now!
Cheers,

Dave
